As the weather is getting increasingly colder, my skin is reacting by drying out. At this time of year, I do always tend to switch my skincare up and opt for more hydrating products. This year, I’ve been trying out a few new items from Notino which have so far been working wonders for my skin.
Cleanser
When I wear makeup, I like to take it off with either a cream or oil based cleanser. I love the Nuxe Very Rose Gentle Cleansing Oil for Face and Eyes which I’ve been using for the past few months. It takes my makeup off wonderfully, even waterproof mascara but is really gentle on my skin. It doesn’t leave any sort of oily residue but still leaves my skin feeling hydrated. When it comes to a second cleanse, I have recently been trying out another product from Nuxe, the Very Rose Gentle Cleansing Foam. Again, this is a great cleanser without being harsh on the skin. Both of these products have a great rose scent too.

Face Masks
As I’ve mentioned previously, I like to do face masks a couple of times a week. I always make sure that I do a hydrating one, no matter what time of year it is. My skin is prone to dryness, so it’s important that I try my best to combat that. One of my favourite brands for face masks, particularly sheet masks is Skin79. I have tried out quite a few of their sheet masks and have loved each one. If I do one of these sheet masks at night, I will always wake up with smooth, plump and hydrated skin. These masks will always be part of my skincare routine, they’re really affordable too with them being priced.

Another step that I have recently added to mu skincare routine is using eye patches. This is a new thing which I have introduced in the last couple of months. It’s mainly because I am in my thirties now and am worried about getting wrinkles. I’m sure I won’t look this young forever! When I was looking for a new brand to try, I came across the Pink Racoony eye patches by Secret Key. I have to admit that I chose these purely based on the fact that there’s a raccoon on the front of the tub but I have been using them for a couple of weeks now and I love them. Secret Key is a Korean skincare brand and I will definitely be looking into more of their products.
