This month I’ve been doing all I can to make sure I feel great. When the clocks go back and it gets darker earlier, I tend to feel really fatigued and down. It’s important for me to put some time aside to look after myself when this happens. Here are a few products that I’ve been using to cheer myself up..

Hand soap doesn’t have to be boring – I always like to have one with a nice scent in my bathroom. I have been loving the Vanilla & Patchouli scent from Vivanel. Not only is it a great fragrance, but it looks great next to the sink too!

I am a big fan of Sol de Janeiro and their Brazilian Bum Bum cream. I’ve been using the cream for a good few months now and also absolutely love the scent. I got myself a gift set which includes the cream, shower gel and body spray which I have almost used up. I also got myself the Bom Dia travel set which smells amazing – I might even prefer it to the original scent! These travel sets are great gift ideas if you are still doing your Christmas shopping.

When my hair looks good, then I always feel good. As my hair is bleached and dyed, I have to take extra special care of it to ensure that it doesn’t get dry and damaged. My hairdresser uses a lot of the products from Milk Shake when I go to my appointments and they smell wonderful and leave my hair feeling so smooth and looking really shiny. I found that Notino stocks the range so I just had to get my hands on the Mill Shake Incredible Milk spray. This is a leave in conditioner which you spray onto your damp hair before styling. To me, it smells like honey and caramel! Using this after I wash my hair means that I get that salon feeling at home. My hair also stays protected from the heat from my hair dryer and straighteners.

Something else I’ve been loving this month is some eyeliners from Essence. The Essence Lash Princess Eyeliner pen comes in two colours, black and brown. It’s really easy to apply and is super long lasting. I decided to pick this up because I’m a big fan of the mascara of the same name. If you’re in the market for a new eyeliner, then definitely try these out!
