We all know that I love a face mask. I always make time at least once a week to treat myself to a sheet mask. If I am having any issues with my skin, then I’ll do another type of face mask too. Here are my favourite types of face mask to use.
Sheet Masks
Sheet masks are great, they’re so easy to apply and they’re so fuss free. The type of sheet masks that I usually go for are the ones that moisturise, brighten and leave my skin feeling plump. Over the years, I’ve managed to try out so many different brands and now have a number of favourites. One that I have recently discovered is The Saem, they are a Korean beauty brand who offer a lot of different types of face mask. My personal favourite is the Hyaluronic Acid one and I’m also a big fan of the Aloe mask. I am also a big fan of Skin79 and Holika Holika.
Clay Masks
Clay masks are great for when you’re having problems with break outs. Recently, I’ve found that I’m reaching for the clay masks much more often. There’s a great range of clay masks on the market but one of my favourites is by Revolution Skincare. Their Pink Clay Mask is great for my dry skin as it targets blemishes but doesn’t make my skin any drier than it already is. At the moment, I’m using this a couple of times a week.

Serums
Skincare is so important to get right. I have tried many different lotions and potions and have finally found a routine that works for me. I love the Revolution Skincare serums as they are affordable, but work brilliantly. I’m currently using the Niacinamide, Multi Peptide Serum and a couple of times a week, I’ll use the Retinol.
The Niacinamide is great for combatting blemishes and I use this daily. If I skip a couple of days, I do really notice a difference. The Multi Peptide Serum works well to combat the signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles and uneven texture. The Retinol also combats signs of aging but is a much stronger formula, so shouldn’t be used every day.

I have had a lot of texture on my forehead recently, so I’ve made sure to use the Retinol serum a couple of times a week. These serums are all to be applied under your moisturiser to get the best out of them. One of my favourite moisturisers is the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré which I have been using for a few years now. It’s so moisturising and also works well under makeup.
